Awake by 3:30 AM. Attempted wall-walk back bends. Drove to attempt Parker Mesa Overlook Trail again. Arrived at trail head 6:11AM. Began to rain heavily. Weather app said it would still be raining for 1.5 hours. Went home happy that at least I got to come drive through the canyon and see a beautiful sunrise.
Dangerous conditions driving home, still mostly dark because of clouds. Windshield fogged up on the highway while rain was pouring. Put on my hazards with very little to no visibility.
Made it home and went back to sleep. Woke up 8:30AM. Coffee. Gym.
Lunch and back outside for 8.5 mile hike. 9.1 miles total for the day.
